Wow, this is amazing! It’s the best red sprite image I’ve ever seen—perhaps the best that’s ever been recorded! Red sprites are upper ionosphere luminosities fueled by lightning. This incredible phenomenon is mostly seen by astronauts and rarely by anyone else.
